Artwork
We can help you design a decal or sign to fit your need. We can also reproduce an existing design (see note*).
Creation and approval of original artwork: We will design a decal or sign using the description, rough sketch, and/or electronic artwork (see below) you provide. If you wish to give final approval to the artwork before production, request Art For Approval. Artwork will then be faxed or emailed to you, and the order will not be fulfilled until the design meets your approval.
Submitting artwork: Rough sketches and simple artwork can be faxed. Designs featuring complex artwork, critical logos, or detailed images should be mailed or submitted electronically (see below). Some images may require electronic submission.
Electronic submissions: Electronic (computer) artwork may be submitted on disk or by email. Please read the following:
Format of artwork: We prefer receiving artwork in Adobe Illustrator format. We also accept the following: EPS, Corel Draw, Freehand, SVG, WMF, or PICT. In some cases we may be able to accept Adobe Photoshop, TIFF, PNG, JPG, or GIF formats, but please ask before sending art in these formats.
Sending via email: You may submit artwork as an attachment to your email. If your artwork file is larger than 1MB, please compress the file before sending it using a standard file compression utility. Send email submissions to decals fireconcepts.com .
Sending on disk: We can accept Windows or Macintosh disks. Submissions on CD should be in standard CD-ROM format. Do not use CD-RW formats. We can also accept 100MB Zip disks or floppy disks. Please place floppy disks in a rigid mailer. (Caution: Floppy disks can be damaged by bending or by attaching paper clips.)
Color matching: PMS (Pantone) color matching is available. Please provide PMS numbers and indicate the colors on your artwork.
*NOTE: We cannot reproduce trademarked or copyrighted designs unless you, the customer, obtain or own rights to the use of that design. We reserve the right to request proof of such rights before processing an order.
